CORA’s Sports Performance Programs were designed to help athletes at all levels perform their best while feeling their best. Our aim is to develop a customized program that meets your needs and desires while simultaneously decreasing your risk of injury or re-injury.
CORA’s Up and Running Program
Every year, running provides physical, mental, and emotional benefits to up to 50 million Americans. In fact, it’s estimated that up to 15% of the population laces up and hits the road or the treadmill regularly. Still, from the walker/sometimes jogger to the experienced marathon runner, this sport can have an injury rate anywhere from 19% to 79%. CORA is here to help you keep your stride or put you on the path to wellness.
With our Up and Running Program, the physical therapists at CORA play a role in rehabilitating injuries as well as preventing them. In addition to assessing your flexibility and strength, we also use our 2D analysis while you run on a treadmill to observe:
- Cadence
- Symmetry
- Foot positioning
- Knee angles
- Pelvic position
- Trunk lean
- Arm swing
- Stride length
Conditions that can be treated as part of the assessment or independently include:
- Low back pain
- Knee pain
- Hip pain
- Tendinitis (Achilles, patellar, hip)
- IT band syndrome
- Plantar fasciitis
- Compartment syndrome
- Medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints)
- Stress fractures

Get in the Swing Golf Program from CORA
Nearly 25 million people golf in the United States every year—some of them better than others. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or dream of sporting a green jacket one day, staying healthy can help you play healthy, and improving your golf swing can help your performance.
There are many ways to swing a club, but there is one particular way that is most efficient and effective for you. The golf program at CORA uses a proven, 16-point screen to accurately identify specific issues that inhibit a golfer’s performance. We use the information collected to set up a customized treatment plan to get you up to par.
Based on your goals and assessment, we can help increase:
- Strength
- Range of motion
- Balance
- Motor fluidity
- Momentum
- Power
Although the screening by our TPI Certified therapists is great for improving performance and keeping you healthy, injuries do happen. Conditions that can be treated as part of the assessment or independently include:
- Low back pain
- Hip pain
- Knee pain
- Ankle pain
- Elbow pain
- Wrist pain
- Neck pain
