Physical Therapist | Clinic Manager
Carmen Gentry
Carmen Gentry is a Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager with more than 16 years of experience. A Western North Carolina native, she is passionate about helping patients better understand their bodies, build confidence, and take an active role in their recovery. Her background as a former mathematics teacher continues to shape her approach to care, with a strong emphasis on education, clear communication, and helping patients feel informed and empowered throughout treatment.
Her clinical interests include pelvic floor physical therapy, osteoporosis, orthopedic rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation and BPPV treatment, neurologic rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, and post-operative recovery. Carmen is also an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. She combines clinical experience with peer-reviewed evidence to create patient-centered treatment plans shaped by each patient’s story, priorities, and goals.
Outside the clinic, Carmen enjoys hiking, reading, writing, spending time with her son and her partner, Ed, and attending the symphony. She is also a longtime Doctor Who fan.
