Simpsonville, SC – October 25, 2021 – CORA Health Services, Inc., doing business as CORA Physical Therapy (“CORA”), a top-10 national operator of outpatient physical therapy services, announced today the opening of its newest clinic in Upstate South Carolina. CORA Simpsonville marks the 26th clinic in South Carolina, expanding the company’s footprint to provide access to quality healthcare.
Located at 404 Harrison Bridge Road, Suite D, the new clinic can schedule patients in as little as 24 to 48 hours—sometimes even the same day—so they get better, faster. CORA Simpsonville offers state-of-the-art treatment plans for general orthopedic and sports injuries, post-COVID recovery programs, pre- and post-operative care, vertigo and balance disorders, chronic pain, and workplace injuries and workers’ comp solutions.
Stephanie Stewart, PT, DPT, OCS will manage CORA Simpsonville. Originally from New York, she graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. Stephanie moved to Orlando in 2009 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2014. She became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2018 and has a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. Stephanie brings certifications in both Astym and Kinesio Taping.
“At CORA, improving patient outcomes through access to quality physical therapy is our number one priority,” said Clinic manager Stephanie Stewart. “Our staff is excited to welcome every patient with an unmatched level of care that helps them reach their recovery goals faster.”
CORA Physical Therapy accepts patients through direct access—no referral required—for people calling or walking into the clinic seeking physical therapy services, as well as through physician referrals. As an option for patients who cannot come into the clinic, CORA also offers telehealth visits and therapy in the home to ensure continuity of treatment with 4,000+ insurance plans accepted and payment options for patients without insurance.
Nick Inosencio, Regional Manager at CORA Physical Therapy, said, “This addition represents our commitment to grow with the community as healthcare providers fully invested in each patient’s recovery. An expanded footprint in the region gives us the ability to reach more patient populations in need of care, and further promote health and wellness in Greenville County.”
The Simpsonville clinic reflects a new prototype look for CORA, designed to create a warmer, more welcoming, and comfortable environment for patients. As with all CORA clinics, Simpsonville is taking extra precautions to adhere to the health and safety of both patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, with scheduling and check-in protocols for all appointments.
