N.S. Promotions and Events and CORA have teamed up to launch the Official Recovery Zone at the 10th Annual Myrtle Beach Marathon. The Recovery Zone will be open for all participants and will be fully staffed by CORA sports medicine experts through the completion of the 13.1 Mile Half Marathon event on Sunday, October 20. Staff will also be on-site at two race packet pick-up locations at Black Dog Running Company and Fleet Feet Myrtle Beach offering advice for runners to prepare for their big race.
“Our team is prepared and ready to help everyone on the Grand Strand set a personal record and feel great while doing it,” said Chris Nwanegwo ATC, LAT, SCAT, Regional Sports Medicine and Outreach Coordinator for CORA Coastal SC region. “We have staffed the event with some of the best and brightest sports medicine professionals who will be on-site providing pre-race treatment and post-race recovery services at the finish line, including injury screens, stretching, Astym, taping and services that will help individuals feel at their best and recover quickly.”
ActiveTracks, CORA’s comprehensive sports medicine program is committed to evidence-based, sports injury rehabilitation, community education and wellness.
